A reflection on the historical situation experienced and on the fragility of our humanity, in a continuous cycle of birth and death, despair and hope, through three symbolic images: the mask of the plague doctor, used in epidemics in Europe since the fourteenth century and part of sanitary like today's mask, whose beak was filled with hay and aromatic herbs, later became an apotropaic costume of carnival folklore and then an object of art; the crow, considered according to Western culture as a messenger of bad omens and a bird associated with death; the circle, constant of the three tables, cyclical symbol of time that returns and of a condition that presents itself today, like yesterday, perhaps even tomorrow.
